Refund and Shipping


All sales are generally final unless the seller explicitly allows refunds or exchanges.
Refunds may be granted only if the item is significantly different from its listing, including:

  • The item arrived damaged ...--------------
  • The item is counterfeit or proven inauthentic

  • The item is significantly different in condition, color, size, or details than described

  • Minor wear or pre-loved imperfections shown or described in the listing are not refundable.

  • Buyer’s change of mind or fit issues (e.g., if the item doesn’t fit as hoped but matches the listed size or measurements) are not eligible for refunds unless the buyer permits it. 

  • Buyers who change their mind are encouraged to resell the item on The Modest Avenue.


 

 Refund Process

  • Buyers must contact the seller directly within 3 days of delivery if there’s an issue.

  • Buyers must provide photos or other evidence to support their claim.

  • Sellers may be asked to provide proof of shipment or item condition.

  • If an item is lost or damaged during shipping, the buyer or seller may file a claim with the carrier.

  • Refunds are issued through the original payment method once the claim or return is approved.

  • Return shipping may be required; buyers cover the cost unless the item was misrepresented, damaged, or counterfeit.


 

Shipping Process

  • Sellers must ship orders within 3–5 days or within the timeframe agreed upon with the buyer.

  • Buyers may cancel the order if the seller fails to ship within 5 days or by the agreed deadline.

  • Sellers must provide a valid tracking number for all shipments.

  • Orders shipped without tracking may not qualify for protection if lost in transit.

 

 

Lost Package Policy

  • Once tracking shows an order as delivered, The Modest Avenue and the seller are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

  • Buyers should contact the shipping carrier directly to file a missing package claim.

  • If the item is confirmed lost before delivery, a refund or carrier claim may be processed through the shipping provider.
